French dye (red)

French Tincture is suitable for all smooth leathers, suede, nubuck and velvet leathers. A penetrating alcohol-based formula that can be used as a base coat.

Tip : first, you will need to strip the leather with the appropriate stripper. This is because, in order for the product to penetrate deeply into the leather, the original colour must be ‘broken’. Apply the liquid with the applicator provided or a brush for greater precision. Leave to dry for at least one hour. It is sometimes necessary to apply several coats before the colour takes properly. Next, you will need to nourish your shoes using a polish. The stripper and dye damage the leather, so don't hesitate to polish your shoes once you have finished dyeing them.
