French dye (Bordeaux)

French Tincture is for all smooth leathers, suede, nubuck, and velvet leathers. A penetrating alcohol-based formula that can be used as a base coat.

Tip : first, you will need to strip the leather with the appropriate stripper. This is because the original color must be “broken” for the product to penetrate deeply into the leather. Apply the liquid with the applicator provided or a brush for greater precision. Leave to dry for at least one hour. It is sometimes necessary to apply several coats before the color sets properly. Next, you will need to nourish your shoes using shoe polish. The stripper and dye damage the leather, so don't hesitate to polish your shoes once you have finished dyeing them.
